The studio deals with architectural design in different areas and in different scales. The methodological approach is the constant that regulates the architectural process: analysis of the context, learn local history, users profile, check local regulations, problem formulation, creative act, integrated design and site plan. The aim is to create architectures that derives from the understanding of reality as time and space, in which they are born. Intimately related to the context and to the identity of the place; dynamic, sustainable. Capable of responding to final users needs without forgetting the impact they may have on the landscape and on the indirect users. Architectures for a dense city; attractive and attentive to the social and urban dynamics. Architectures for which the constraint should be a challenge and not a restraint to creativity.
The method used is based on Integrated Design Process, that is a design that aims to engage critically, at every stage, the needs of each specific sector that actively participates in the project by taking into account not only the effect of each choice, but the impact generated by their inevitable interaction in order, therefore, to arrive at the best solution in terms of architectural quality, building performance, energy saving, and compliance with current requirements. In this context, therefore, the architectural design is developed hand in hand with the structure and services systems, trying to achieve the goals set.
The studio is conceived as an open network where different building experts can join in. So far the studio has worked with: Prof. Ing. Claudio Galli (Studio Architettura e Restauro), Ing. Sergio Para, Ing. Mario Paradisi, Arch. Tommaso Bettini, Arch. Stefano Brunelli, Arch. Antonio Bandini (Studio Des), Arch. Luca Stortoni, Ing. Matteo Grilli (Studio Tecnico Marchingegno), Ing. Fabio Lugli, Ing. Angelo Luppi.
