Francesco Naldi Eng+Arch
Engineer . Born in Bologna on the july 8th, 1983 .
He graduated in Architecture and Building Engineering (bachelor and master) from the University of Bologna in the academic year 2009-2010 with a thesis in Architectural Restoration in collaboration with the Municipality of Bologna entitled: "The Porticoes of Bologna: "Memorandum of Understanding for the design and execution of the Restorations. Materials, Light, Perception." (Supervisor: Prof. Claudio Galli , Assistant: Dr. Ing Matteo Grilli, Prof. Ing. Alessio Erioli).
In the academic year 2007 - 2008 he attended as Erasmus student in Architectural Design, the master MSc in Engineering with specialization in Architecture, at the University of Aalborg, Denmark.
In 2009 he took part in an international contest "LIVE THE BOX " for the rehabilitation of a degraded urban area close to the airport of Newark, New York, USA.
Since March 2011 he has been assisting Prof. Ing Claudio Galli, chair in Architectural Restoration course at the Department of Architecture (DA) of the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna.
Exceeded the Italian State examination for professional certification in the first session of the year 2011, he has been working as a freelance with others architectural studio between Bologna and Rimini.
In November 2011 he joined the Order of Engineers of the Province of Bologna in section A, civil environment.
"Teaching Assistant" for the discipline of Architectural Restoration (ICAR/19) since March 2012, at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
He attended in February 2013 the course in "RESTORE AND SEISMIC IMPROVEMENT ON THE ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE. Regulatory updates, analysis of the structures and intervention techniques.", sponsored by the Regional Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Landscape in Emilia Romagna and the Regional Federation Emilia Romagna Orders Engineers, under the auspices of the Federation Orders Architects Emilia Romagna.
